Activity Description

After participating in Activity 8B: Donning a Hearing Impairment
and/or Activity 8C: Amplify, conduct a class discussion on how students can be better caregivers for the hearing impaired individuals. Let students offer suggestions based on their experiences then provide each with a copy of the handout "Helpful Things a Caregiver Should Remember About the Hearing Impaired." Compare with suggestions offered during discussion.
